The metal used in Lister Lights TIPS is 440A surgical stainless steel, the same as is used by the largest manufacturers of dental instruments in the world. We buy the same steel from the same mill. Our uncompromising standards of hardening and annealing the TIPS results in a perfect blend of hardness, toughness, and the ability to maintain a sharp edge. Lister Lights HANDLES are round, about 5/16" in diameter, a very popular size that allows for good maneuverability and yet helps prevent hand fatigue and carpal tunnel problems. They are made from a space-age metal alloy that is ultra-light, yet cannot flex or crack. Lister Lights HANDLES are light gray in color. |
